Furthermore the Zoom A1X FOUR provides an extensive effects library for all acoustic guitars and string or wind instruments, which has been specially adapted to their characteristic sound characteristics. Accordingly, more than 90 effects from the areas of drive , modulation , filter and dynamics offer the possibility of adapting the sound to one's own ideas or even completely alienating it. The practical expression pedal of the Zoom A1X FOUR allows you to control certain effect parameters in real time. Via the USB port , the A1X FOUR also connects to the free Zoom Guitar Lab software for loading additional effects or for precise fine-tuning.

Zoom MAA-1 Preamp  for microphones

Last but not least, the Zoom A1X FOUR comes with the practical Zoom MAA-1 microphone preamp , to which microphones can be connected for picking up the instruments used. The handy preamp supports not only dynamic microphones but also condenser microphones thanks to switchable 48 V phantom power .
